Macular Degeneration
Macular Degeneration is a common eye disease associated with aging that gradually destroys central vision. There are two primary forms of macular degeneration, dry and wet. Treatment is available for both forms, and untreated macular degeneration will cause blindness.
Early detection and treatment is key to slowing the disease and managing its effects. If you have family history of macular degeneration or begin to experience loss of central vision, you should schedule an appointment to be evaluated for macular degeneration.
